What IS a fortune teller anyhow?
Good question! Honestly? I see it as a bit of a disparaging and “unenlightened” term. I truly don’t know any genuine psychic, tarot readers, clairvoyant or medium who would appreciate being called a fortune teller, and to me… it denotes a negative impression as well.
Having said that…
A fortune teller is often an euphemism with regard to slang term for psychic. The origin of the term goes back hundreds of years, and over time, in the modern world, has turned into a bit associated with circus psychics who use costumes and crystal balls to “divine” your future.
Can the best psychic REALLY predict the future?
Totally. As a matter of fact, some very strong studies suggest that YOU can predict the future, too! (both in your own life… and in areas that have nothing to do with you at all) But , rather than delve into a scientific article on the nature of time and space and it’s relationship to long term events, let’s just say that precognition, or the ability to see things that have NOT yet happened is a pretty well established phenomenon.
What kind of tools do “fortune tellers” use?
Good question! It truly depends a bit on the type of audience, AND whether they are legitimately clairvoyant, or simply playing games or trying to entertain an audience. A good psychic can use anything from a deck of tarot cards, to intricate astrological graphs, to reading objects (often known as psychometry) to channeling or even conntacting spirit guides. (most often connected with psychic mediumship)
A “fake” fortune teller or entertainment oriented psychic will often use props like a crystal ball, or some other new age kind of gimmick that they feel plays in to the expectation of the audience. (this is NOT something that’s going to help you see your future, and rather should be looked at as fun and light entertainment only)
Can psychic readings, tarot or astrological understanding really change my life for ラインの占い the much better?
Absolutely. And yes, I know that will some people have a difficult time believing that will, and that’s totally okay. I believe (and know from personal experience) that there is much more to life…. than that which meets the eye. I believe that we each possess karma, and that there is a very important spiritual component to each of our lives. Tapping into this particular “power” is often an amazing way to awaken to our personal purpose, and PASSION and live the type of life we were destined or put here in order to pursue.
